Regular Band Practices are held on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 p.m. in the Sedbergh School Band Room. Committee Meetings are held in the Band Room on the First Friday of each Month. A tuition class for Beginners is held on Monday evenings at 6.00 p.m. in the Sedbergh School Band Room. Instruments are provided free and a nominal fee of £1 per week is payable into the Town Band funds. The current age range covers a wide spread and any person wishing to join the class should contact Tony Crofts or Alan Lewis at the email address or telephone number given on the Home page. In addition beginners tuition is available in the URC Hall on Saturday mornings between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 a.m., when individual guidance is given by town Band members.
